Recent advances in retrodirective system technology

Retrodirective arrays have the unique ability to respond to an interrogator without any prior knowledge of the incoming signal's direction. This self-phasing process is achieved in a completely analog manner, making these arrays good for high-speed target tracking applications. In recent years, much work has focused on the integration of various communication and sensing functions as well as additional circuit enhancements which would help to advance the range of applications for retro directive arrays. This paper presents some of the recent advances in retro directive array system technology
