A strict inequality on spectral radius of nonnegative matrices and its probabilistic proof

Itpsilas a well known fact that rho(A)LtparAparinfin holds for any nonnegative and irreducible matrix. A probabilistic proof is proposed, together with a parallel corollary and an interesting interpretation.
