Optical properties and electronic structure of CsPbCl3 and CsPbBr3

Abstract Optical measurements of CsPbCl 3 and CsPbBr 3 layers and crystals are reported. They are explained with an empirical LCAO-scheme which shows the close relationship to the polymorphous thallous halides.
