A convergence model for a CORDIC-based ARMA lattice filter

This paper presents a convergence model for a CORDIC-based ARMA lattice filter. In previous works, several convergence analyses have been discussed; however, they are available only for AR-type filters. On the other hand, our convergence model reveals convergence properties of an adaptive ARMA lattice filter. The results of the analysis facilitate an efficient ASIC design of the ARMA lattice filters. In addition, we can apply the presented analysis techniques to multiplier-based ARMA lattice filters, so that they can be utilized for many applications in the digital signal processing field.
