Rapid Sonochemical Synthesis of Highly Luminescent Non‐Toxic AuNCs and Au@AgNCs and Cu(II) Sensing.

Highly fluorescent and water-soluble gold nanoclusters with near-IR emission (8% quantum yield) are prepared by sonication of an aqueous solution of HAuCl4 and bovine serum albumin at pH 12.
