This work was done to learn the relation between the period in which male anurans vocalize. and the actual tinmes of spawning and to learn the reproductive seasons of a sympatric group of anuran species. Precise knowledge of the reproductive season, including environmentally induced variations, in a group of species that utilize the same breeding pools is important in assessing the possibilities of interspecific hybridization and in respect to possible interspecific competition, particularly in the larval stage. This report concerns primarily the 7 species of anuran amphibians that breed regularly in a farm pond ("tank") and in a few subsidiary catchments of temporary waters.
