A computer program for compression of dynamic studies.

Abstract This program applies the well known Karhunen-Loeve transformation to the compression of the information carried by scintigraphic sequences. As a result it releases a few principal images which are associated with the dominant temporal behaviour in the sequences. The program is illustrated, and validated in the case of gated cardiac blood pool studies, mathematical and mechanical models.
