Design of N-way high power combiner based on E-plane stepped waveguide T-junction

In this paper, a design method of N-way high power combiner based on E-plane stepped waveguide T-junction is introduced in detail. The equivalent characteristic impedance and discontinuity of E-plane stepped waveguide T-junction are analyzed theoretically. Based on the above analysis results, this paper presents a design scheme of 6-way high power combiner with UHF band. The combiner's rated input power and total output power are 20kw and 120kw respectively. The HFSS software is used for modeling and simulation, and the simulation results verify the correctness and validity of the design scheme.
