Touch pad and method of manufacturing same

Provided is a touch pad and a method of manufacturing same. The touch pad according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an elastic body which is elastically deformed toward an electrode when a touch operation is input so as to generate a signal for detecting at least one of a touched position and a touching pressure through interaction with the electrode, and returns to its original position when the touch operation is ceased; a press plate disposed on one side of the elastic body to press the elastic body during the touch operation; a touch detection module integrated with a spacer disposed on the other side of the elastic body; and a printed circuit board (PCB) including an electrode on one side thereof. When the PCB is injection-molded, the touch detection module is inserted to form the touch detection unit in which the touch detection module and the PCB are integrated with each other.
