Based on the pile-rigid platform spatial simplified calculation model,the seismic response of an all-vertical-piled wharf structure was analyzed considering the torsional effect,and a simplified calculation method for the all-vertical-piled wharf under horizontal seismic loads was developed.The method was verified through comparison of the results obtained from the method with standards and the results of the finite element method.The results show that the precision of the proposed method can meet structural design requirements,and the method can reflect the translation-torsion coupling effect of structures.When a structure's center of mass and its center of rigidity are not coincident,the seismic load and effect should be calculated with the translation-torsion coupling mode-superposition method.When the seismic direction is parallel to the line connecting the center of rigidity and the center of mass,the platform does not produce torsion;when the seismic direction is perpendicular to the line connecting the center of rigidity and the center of mass,the torsion effect of the platform is at its maximum.
