Sparse representation and homomorphic filter for capsule endoscopy image enhancement

Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) is a latest technology that invents in field of medical which is very useful for diagnosis the disease in a human body. An efficient image enhancement technique for the Capsule Endoscopy is used in this paper. This technique is developed considering the disadvantage of Capsule Endoscopy where as WCE images are dark, low contrast brightness and visibility in natural WCE image. In this paper, single frame sparse representation technique is used for resolution enhancement and homomorphic filter is used for contrast enhancement. This enhancement scheme provides better PSNR that is better than the previous techniques. After enhancement, it gives better contrast and visibility for diagnosis of WCE images.
