Method and sequences video decoding apparatus with error concealment

The invention relates to a method of decoding a coded video sequence according to a predictive format, said video sequence comprising predicted frames containing coded residual data representing differences between a predicted image and a corresponding reference image in the sequence video.Le method comprises, for a current predicted image of the video sequence, the steps of: - determining (E51) at least one first area of ​​the predicted current frame based on the satisfaction of a predetermined criterion, - for at least a portion said at least one first specific area, applying (E514) an error concealment method, said error concealment method using the residual data of the current predicted image on said portion.
