Reliability Modeling and Analysis of Pneumatic Capsule Pipeline in Foundry

The method of reliability modeling and analysis based on GO methodology for the design of pneumatic capsule pipeline (PCP) in foundry was introduced. The system probability of PCP was defined, regarding to the specific structure and function of the PCP. Some new GO operators were established and corresponding algorithms were derived. By using state cumulative probability algorithm, the system probability was calculated directly, and the process to analyze the sensitivity of components to system reliability based on GO chart was presented. The result of an example shows that the proposed method is effective for the reliability prediction of PCP and can provide a theoretical basis for the program decision and system optimum design.
