Proposal of Multivariate Grid Indexes to the Distribution Systems Diagnosis

The planning, in operation or expansion topology, corresponds a fundamental step in the energy distribution, ensuring the quality and reliability of the product and the service delivered to the energy consumer. In planning studies, the first step developed is the diagnosis, which determines the current state of the active and passive elements and based on these studies, scenarios are established on the planning horizon. In addition, the insertion of Smart Grid concepts, diagnosis tends to a complexity increased, due to the increase of the influence variables in the network, and the relations between them. Thus, this article presents a proposal to the definition of three new Grid Indexes, the System Operability, the Intelligence Level and the Regulatory Standard. The modelling will be developed through the Fuzzy logic, mainly due to the better method behaviour in front of the low correlation of the variables that compose the indexes. Finally, will be presented some analysis, with results obtained from the actual operation of a Brazilian Utility.
