Synthesis-Algorithm Of Bang-bang Controller With Delayed Feedback On Temperature Controlled Systems

A bang-bang controller offers some advantages, such as simple structure and low cost. However, this controller always provides signals in some manipulated variables in fluctuating values. In order to improve its characteristic, the bang-bang controller is connected with a delayed feedback as compensator. This paper proposed a synthesis algorithm for determining relationship between parameters of bang-bang controller with delayed feedback to parameters of temperature controlled systems as plant. The delayed feedback component is a second order filter which have two times constants and a gain steady state parameter. This Bang-bang controller with delayed feedback of second order filter can be assumed as non-linear PID controller with low pass filter.
