Harmonic Optimization Research Based on Solid State Transformer Rectifier

Aiming at the rectifier stage of solid state transformer( SST),in order to improve the voltage level and realize the grid side power factor correction and to reduce the grid side odd harmonics,this paper discussed a new kind of cascade single-phase PWM rectifier applicable to SST. Firstly it introduced the working principle of the rectifier,then analyzed the causes of the twice harmonic of DC and odd harmonic of power grid,and selecting the DC voltage dynamic compensation method for harmonic optimization. Finally,it established the system model with the simulation tool of Matlab. The experimental results show that this method can effectively reduce the grid side current harmonic content.
