MMSE sequences for channel estimation

MMSE training sequences are obtained for intersymbol interference channels, where the discrete-time channel has up to four taps. The sequences are obtained while placing constraints on their computational complexity, autocorrelation and sequence symmetry properties. An MMSE training sequence is identified for arbitrary length channels that requires neither multiplications nor divisions for channel estimation.
