LTE-based MCPTT Architecture for Next Generation Railway Dispatching Communication System

This paper focuses on the development of LTE-based MCPTT architecture for next generation Railway Dispatching Communication System(RDCS). System and functional requirements are generalized, after which the logical, protocol and software architectures of RDCS are designed and explained. Moreover the optimizations of MCPTT service procedures and the numbering plan of RDCS are presented. Finally the on-site testbed is implemented accordingly and measurement results are analyzed to evaluate the performance of system. The architectural solutions and test results in this paper are helpful for the future system development.
