The high-precise two-way time transfer based on the multiphase pulses correlation

The two-way time transfer (TWTT) is a time synchronization technology being utilized for achieving high- precise time synchronization between two stations. The accurate time interval measurement, as one of key technologies in TWTT, is often performed by ultra short pulse counting. In this paper, a multiphase pulses correlation scheme is proposed instead of the ultra short pulse to accomplish the accurate measurement of the two-way time interval. A new hardware structure of the TWTT is also provided. The simulation results indicate that the precision of time synchronization is superior to 1 ns.
