Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Structures and Program Design

For a long time, people always use linear elasticity theory to analyze reinforced concrete structure stress, while use limit state design methods to calculate the carrying capacity, rigidity and crack resisting. It is apparent that the metheds aren't in harmony with each ether. In this paper, the authors adopt nonlinear finite element method and introduce several parameter strength criterion and nonlinear stress-strain relations, which can well reflect the nonlinear characteristic or reinforce concrete structures. The authors have designed a nonlinear finite element program.The results of the calculation coincide with those measured in experiments. It will provide some references for designers and deep research.
