Surgical Management of Depression Fractures of the Equine Skull

Three cases of depression fractures of the equine facial bones are described. Treatment consisted of operative exposure using large skin flaps and elevation of the fragments with and without transosseous wiring. In all cases, cosmetic and functional results were considered excellent.
