Open- and Closed-Loop System of Computer Integrated Desktop-scale CNC Machine

Abstract In the beginning phase to learn control, mainly focuses on feedback control system as a cultural classical issue with several experiments using open- and closed-loop control system, is a prior. Therefore, developing a teaching aid as a new paradigm of teaching of control engineering is done. Usages of difference software in control engineering such as matlab, LabView, NC-code with Mach3 and others are also introduced. A desktop-scale CNC machine is completely build-up with those programs. Closely, it introduces a teaching aid in control engineering in a way to realize process of learn and teach in academic environment as a practical educator of embedded system. The results shown by this desktop-scale CNC machine are representative for education purpose, and errors are minimized.
