Linguistic models of assistive computer technologies for cognition and communication

In the article, the linguistic models of assistive multimedia and communication information technologies are considered. General principles of assistive computer technologies (ACT) are analyzed and the prospects of modeling assistive technologies using linguistic models are studied. A new mathematical model of language is proposed to take into account the structure of messages that are processed by means of assistive technologies. The assistive technologies are classified by the linguistic level they operate on: alphabet, vocabulary, grammatical or semantic level. Tasks that require further research are defined.
