13C NMR spectral simulation and shift prediction

Abstract A recent development in 13 C NMR spectroscopy is the use of computer methods to predict the 13 C chemical shifts and to carry out simulation of 13 C NMR spectra. A review is made of selected computer/NMR approaches that have been developed. Examples are shown for the shift prediction and spectral simulation of organic compounds and polymeric systems.
