In the oil - well monitoring system, the data transmission method using acoustical waves as carrier waves via the wall of oil pipeline can bring cost savings and reliability. The acoustical waves traveling in the wall of oil - pipe, which is a periodic structure, are dispersed and distorted. This is the main problem of the acoustical waves telecommunication. On the basis of the relation of wavenumber and frequency, the solution process is analyzed, and a method suitable for computer simulation is put forward, and the source code of which is provided in Matlab language. The results of simulation display that the pass - bands and the stop - bands present themselves alternately in this acoustical channel of the oil pipeline, which acts as a comb - filter, and the higher the acoustical wave frequency is, the narrower the pass-band is, the wider the stop-band is, the more severe the dispersion is. This work can help the researchers engaged in the relative study.
