Value engineering is a management technology which is to improve the value of product or project through organized creative work for searching for the lowest life-span cost to achieve the user's required function.It consists of three basic elements---value,function and life-span cost.Through concrete examples,the analysis and comparison are made to further clarify the value engineering's application in the optimizing of designing therefore to optimize the design and reduce investment.
