DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A DIRECTIVE SOUND FIELD FOR AN ELECTRIC CAR WARNING SOUND

. Conversely, there has been limited published work on the directional characteristics of the reproduced sound field. By designing the sound field reproduced by the warning system, it may be possible to reach a compromise between providing sufficient audible queues to pedestrians and cyclists and avoiding unnecessary noise pollution. This has been suggested by a number of authors
