Application of Hilbert Transform in Fault Diagnosis of Traction Motors

Based on the Hilbert transform method,and taking the stator current of tractor motor as the target,the stator current is processed with Hilbert transform to eliminate the DC component.This method has solved the problems of the fault characteristics extraction,which are easily to be buried by fundamental frequency and hard to be detected,and makes the fault characteristics extraction more accurate.This detection result could be more directly used for diagnosis.The fault detection instances in laboratory and the simulation demonstrate that this approach is effective and feasible.
