Optimal Selection of Traction Transformer in Cophase Power Supply System Based on Active Power Filter

The minimum capacity of compensation device in cophase power supply system based on active power filter has no relation with transformer connection,so using normal connection is significant.Under cophase power supply systems with YN,d11,V,v,and Scott transformer,this paper analyzes based on balance compensation principle that the capacity demands have relations with negative and reactive compensation degree,power factor angle,connection angle of load,and phase shift angel.Choosing right transformer connection from the curves between capacity efficiency and negative compensation degree under assigned reactive compensation degree can get the best economic indicator.Finally,with the simulations,it is shown that no matter which transformer is chosen,theoptimal selection can get right compensation characteristics with better control methods.
