Application of Improved Genetic Algorithms in PID Parameters Optimization for Brushless DC Motor Driving System

In view of the limitations of conventional methods for PID parameters tuning in brushless DC motor(BLDCM)driving system,an improved genetic algorithm is proposed.Particle swarm optimization is applied to the mutation operation of genetic algorithm.The improved algorithm can effectively improve the problem of premature,the optimization ability of genetic algorithm and convergence speed.The objective function and unit step response are obtained by simulation.The simulation results verify the feasibility and superiority of the improved genetic algorithm in parameter optimization.
