Cytogenetics in the dog and cat.

Abstract— Cytogenetic studies in the dog and cat may be of clinical value in cases involving congenital abnormalities and cancer. This paper reviews briefly the techniques used in cytogenetics and describes studies in cases of canine congenital cardiac defects, achondroplasia, sexual anomalies, venereal sarcoma and lymphosarcoma; and feline cerebellar hypoplasia, sexual anomalies and lymphoma.
