A Folded RF Front-end with Low Power Comsumption

A proposed low power RF front-end composed of a folded mixer and LNA is designed. Transconductance stage and switching stage of mixers are designed with folded architecture for low power consumption, and also LNA and tranconductance stage of mixer are designed with current reuse architecture for low power consumption. It consumes 7.34 ㎽ from 1.2 V supply voltage, while conversion gain of 28.2 ㏈ is achieved. By using PMOS in the switching stage of the mixer, low flicker noise is achieved, equal to 10 ㏈ at 10 ㎑.
