Finite Element Simulation of Tyre Dynamics

An idealised steady state tyre rolling process is modelled using ABAQUS. This simplified approach produces detailed response parameter values of practical importance but does not need special purpose elements or procedures. The results obtained highlight the route to successful detailed analysis.
