Audits in der Psychiatrie

Audits dienen der Qualitätssicherung und gewinnen auch in der Medizin zunehmend an Bedeutung. Zur Optimierung der Patientenversorgung ist es notwendig, Strukturen, Arbeitsabläufe und klinische Ergebnisse zu untersuchen und anhand von Standards zu messen. Dieses Vorgehen ermöglicht es, Probleme zu erkennen und Verbesserungsvorschläge zu erarbeiten. Sind die empfohlenen Maßnahmen durchgeführt worden und bestätigt eine erneute Evaluation deren Wirksamkeit, so wird eine Verbesserung der Patientenversorgung erreicht.
