A Computational Prototyping Environment for Electromagnetic Design of Xerographic Systems

As technology corporations migrate toward an integrated systems approach to product development, emphasis must be paid to the creation and infrastructure of the environment as well as the tools and information that must coexist to support design synthesis. This paper details a coherent approach towards integration of existing and emerging computing technologies to create the design environment. This environment captures contemporary elements of supercomputing, visualization, networking, scalable parallel network computing, and visual programming, to provide a heterogeneous platform in support of computational prototyping.
