Method for controlling access of terminal to shared network and access network element

The invention discloses a method for controlling access of a terminal to a shared network and an access network element, and belongs to the field of communications. According to the method, a PLMN to which a terminal prohibited from accessing to the shared network belongs is determined, and access prohibiting information containing the information of the determined PLMN to which the terminal prohibited from accessing to the shared network belongs is broadcasted, or the access prohibiting information and a PLMN to which a terminal needing to be prohibited from accessing to the shared network are broadcasted, and therefore, the terminal is capable of obtaining the information of the PLMN prohibited from accessing to the shared network, and judges whether the terminal itself is prohibited from accessing to the shared network; as a result, the problems that a wireless communication network is only capable of simultaneously prohibiting the terminals of all the PLMNs sharing the network and the operator of the shared network is incapable of performing distinguishing control on respective users conveniently are solved.
