In this paper we develop a floating license related software sharing system for leveraging software and hardware resources in grid environment. We do so by analyzing limitations of existing license management systems and describing how characteristics of floating license affect software sharing. We present be compatible with the softheartedness original graphical user interface helps reduce the complexity of system integration and enhance usability. Using the constellation model for resource management and scheduling the abundant hardware resources within license restriction for job executing we develop a prototype system to satisfy the ever-increasing requirement of software resource sharing in grid. The system's ability to application experiences demonstrates that the system has good transparency, usability, scalability and QoS guarantee, show the system can effectively use the in grid, decrease the response time, and improve license utilization.
