A simple method for baseline correction in EPR spectroscopy

Abstract A simple computer program for baseline correction of EPR spectra is presented. The procedure is based on a polynomial fitting of the experimental spectrum after appropriate choice of a number of points by the user. The program written in MS-QuickBasic for DOS runs in a few seconds on a Compaq DeskPro 486/50L PC. Simplicity of use and management makes this program very reliable, especially when used in connection with more powerful EPR data analysis computer programs.
