FlashLinQ 기반 Peer-to-Peer 네트워크의 성능 분석을 위한 시스템 레벨 시뮬레이터 개발

Since traffic load has been increasing in the mobile networks, ad-hoc technologies where each node can directly communicate without centralized systems are newly interested. As one of the ad-hoc wireless technologies for mobile networks, Qualcomm proposed FlashLinQ operating in licensed spectrum for mobile communications. In FlashLinQ, each node can directly communicate with others located within 1 km. However, performance of FlashLinQ may decrease as node density and distance between transmitter and receiver increase. For efficient operation, performance of FlashLinQ should be analyzed in various environments. In this paper, we developed a FlashLinQ system-level simulator consisting of scheduler, adaptive modulation and coding scheme (AMC), mobility, traffic generation modules, and so on. The developed simulator shows signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) and throughput of FlashLinQ through graphic user interface (GUI). And it analyzes performance of FlashLinQ in easy and efficient way.
