Organic Electroluminescence

There is provided a white organic electroluminescence element having a high performance, high efficiency, long life and good color rendering properties, which can improve the color rendering properties, which are important for illumination light sources, and its average color rendering index (Ra) and special color rendering index for red (R9) are particularly high. The organic electroluminescence element includes: a transparent electrode (1); a blue light emitting layer (2) containing a blue light emitting material having a maximum emission wavelength of 460 nm or less; a first green light-emitting layer (3) containing a first green light emitting material having a maximum emission wavelength in the range of 460 nm to 610 nm; a red light-emitting layer (4) containing a red light emitting material having a maximum emission wavelength of 610 nm or more; a second green light-emitting layer (5) which includes a second green light emitting material having a maximum emission wavelength in the range of 460 nm to 610 nm; and a reflective electrode (6). The maximum emission wavelength of the first green light-emitting material is located on the short wavelength side of the spectrum, and the maximum emission wavelength of the second green light-emitting material is located on the long wavelength side of the spectrum.
