Analysis of a two-phase queuing system with K-vacation policy

A two-phase queuing system with K-vacation and impatient customers is investigated in this paper.The probability generating functions for the numbers of customers in the system in various server states are derived.In addition,the mean system sizes for various server states,the average rate of balking,and the average rate of reneging are obtained.The study outcomes can be universally applied in communication system,traffic system,and computer storage system.
