Knowledge-Based Mobility Management in All-Mobile Network

The paper deals with mobility management in all-mobile network, where mobile and intelligent software agents support terminal, user and service mobility. It defines the formal model of all-mobile network. The elaborated knowledge-based mobility management is defined as one that reduces location uncertainty using knowledge representation related to mobility tracking and learning of the user’s path, its favourite routes and locations, and habitual duration of stay. Case study describing location strategy based on the “most likely locations in the most likely order” principle is presented.
