Validation of an Interconnected High Gain Observer for Sensorless Induction Motor on Low Frequencies Benchmark : Application to an Experimental Set-Up

Abstract In order to reconstruct the angular speed and load torque of induction motor, an interconnected high gain observer is proposed. On account of observation complexity at low frequencies, the observer is tested and validated on reference trajectories of a new sensorless induction motor benchmark particularly in the well known case when the motor state could be unobservable. This benchmark is applied on an experimental set-up located at IRCCyN (Nantes, France).
