Radiofrequency Ablation of Ventricular Tachycardia

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a new treatment for hemodynamically destablizing sustained VT. Although not considered a treatment for all types of VT, RFA does have its place next to antiarrhythmic medication, implantable cardioverter defibrillator, and cardiothoracic surgery for certain persistent types of VT.1
