A brain emotional learning-based intelligent controller (BELBIC) for DFIG system

In this paper, an intelligent controller is developed resembling the computational emotional process in the mammalian brain. This controller, also called brain emotional learning-based intelligent controller (BELBIC) is then incorporated into the conventional PWM-based and hysteresis-based vector control method. For both methodologies the stator flux space vector has to be oriented to an arbitrary reference frame so that a decoupling between stator active and reactive powers is achieved.
