Analysis on the safety of multiplexing protection channel of power optical communication network in Tibet

The utilization of optical fiber communication network as a channel to transmit multiplexing relay protection and stability control signals is in an elementary phase since the development of Tibet′s electric power communication network lags behind other provinces.This article introduces the present situation of Tibet electric power optical fiber communication network and describes the types and characteristics of relay protection and stability control channel in this network.It also analyses the safety of relay protection and stability control channel in detail based on structure of optical fiber communication network,management mechanism of multiplexing channels and duplex channel.
