Simulation Modeling of Direct Torque Control of Three-phase Fault-tolerant Permanent Magnet Motor

The motor drive should have the function of fault tolerance in case that a critical safety was inquired in the electric driving system. In order to improve the control performance of the fault-tolerant permanent magnet motor in the normal operation, the mathematical model of the motor was established in the rotating coordinate system based on the analysis of its structural features, as well as the decoupling control of current, flux and torque was realized. Trough observation on the waveforms of flux, torque, speed and current, the feasibility and effectiveness of control strategies were verified.
