Research of H.264 Fast Intra Prediction Algorithm

Intra prediction is an important component in H.264 video coding standard. It greatly improves the compression ratio, but increases the computing complexity. The intra prediction mode decision with rate distortion optimization (RDO) technology and the common method of fast intra mode decision are researched.
