Image Fusion Algorithm Based on Morphology Wavelets Transform

Based on expatiating on image wavelet fusion algorithm,an algorithm using mathematical morphology wavelets transform is proposed.The image is decomposed into high-frequency image and low-frequency image which are stored in the extended matrix.In the low-frequency component coefficient of selection,mathematical morphology approach is used for the edge detection.After getting the edge image,the weighted average method is used to fuse the scale coefficients of the edge image.To the high-frequency image,these maximal absolute values are selected and the consistency of these coefficients is verified.This algorithm is tested by some images.Experimental result shows that the proposed method is more outstanding than the conventional methods,and effectively improves the resolution of image.
