Hydraulic Performance Optimization of Turbine in Three Gorges Right Bank ydropower Station

In Three Gorges left bank hydropower station,the pressure pulsation existed in the range of high partial load operation,which had been proved in acceptance model test.As a result,a great deal of hyˉdraulic design and model testwere conducted by HEC,the turbine runner A858a was selected to use for the turbine in Three Gorges right bank hydropower station,which has no pressure pulsation in the range of high partial load operation,and the hydraulic performance of cavitation,efficiency,output etc are excellent.It meets requirements of long time operation,safety,stability and hign efficiency of turbine in Three Gorges hydropower station.
